SIEM REAP, CAMBODIA (8 September 2017) — Agriculture ministers in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) today endorsed a 5-year strategy and action plan to build a region-wide food safety system.

Senior officials of GMS countries and development partners finalized a regional strategy and action plan for agriculture for 2018-2022 during the 14th Annual Meeting of the GMS Working Group on Agriculture on 13-14 July in Siem Reap.

A Product Catalog of Safe and Environment-Friendly Agricultural Products has been produced for the Thaifex World of Asia GMS Pavilion with the theme, "GMS: Asia’s Natural Hub”
